Washington, D.C. – October 2, 2024 – ZwillGen PLLC today announced the addition of four attorneys to its roster that will deepen the firm’s experience in its core practice areas while expanding its ability to provide clients with more global support as regulations from across the Atlantic implicate U.S. business and technology companies.
The lineup of new attorneys are Zach Judge-Raza, Sara Haven, Lauren Myers Coble, and Michael Bleicher. This new wave of talent brings expanded expertise across several key practice areas of the firm – Law Enforcement and Surveillance, Privacy Counseling, Tech Transactions, and Litigation – and marks a milestone in ZwillGen’s growth with the arrival of the firm’s first UK-based attorney.
Based in London, Zach Judge-Raza will anchor ZwillGen’s presence overseas where he will provide critical expertise on law enforcement and surveillance matters, an area of increasing importance for the firm’s clients. His arrival adds a new layer of strategic depth to ZwillGen’s services and reinforces the firm’s reputation for handling sensitive global legal issues.
Managing Member Marc Zwillinger emphasized the deep relevance Judge-Raza’s experience will bring to ZwillGen’s law enforcement and surveillance practice:
“Having worked inside the UK surveillance apparatus, Zach offers our clients a unique perspective and insight on UK legal authorities in our increasingly flat world. ZwillGen is pleased to be able to provide practical guidance related to UK legal process that is increasing in scope and frequency as a result of His Majesty’s Government’s efforts to widen their surveillance activities by demanding increasing amounts of data from U.S. tech companies.”
The firm is also growing domestically, as ZwillGen expands its team covering four offices in Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
Sara Haven, recognized for her skill and experience crafting and negotiating creative and strategic agreements at the intersection of law and technology, joins the firm as a technology transactions attorney after previously serving as the General Counsel of LogicGate. Sara is joining ZwillGen to work closely with clients to structure complex deals and agreements that keep pace with the demands of a rapidly evolving industry.
Lauren Myers Coble steps in as the firm’s newest privacy counseling attorney, joining ZwillGen from the National Basketball Association. Lauren will be leveraging her extensive experience to help clients navigate through the tightening maze of U.S. and global privacy regulations. Her practical, forward-thinking approach will ensure clients stay ahead of the curve in today’s increasingly privacy-driven environment.
Michael Bleicher has joined ZwillGen from Perkins Coie, where he developed an expertise in ECPA-related issues and worked on various litigation matters. His arrival strengthens ZwillGen’s dynamic litigation team as it continues to represent clients in increasingly tech-oriented disputes.
“Our growth is always organic – we’re expanding our privacy litigation, counseling, and transactional practices in response to increasing client demand in these areas. With the addition of Sara, Lauren, and Michael, we’re confident that we have found more talented and tested lawyers who share our commitment to providing practical-oriented advice while working in a truly collaborative way,” Zwillinger said.
ZwillGen is thrilled to welcome these talented attorneys to the firm. This growth underscores the firm’s commitment to providing innovative, client-focused legal solutions in an increasingly complex and interconnected legal landscape.
