Bio
Kady’s practice focuses on a variety of legal matters impacting technology companies. She primarily advises on regulatory investigations and enforcement actions by state attorneys general and before federal and state regulators, including the Federal Trade Commission. Among other matters, Kady assists companies in diverse sectors with issues related to data privacy and security, e-commerce and advertising, product development, and regulatory compliance.
Kady also assists in drafting a variety of business policies and procedures including terms of service, privacy policies, and vendor contracts for clients. Additionally, Kady has experience helping clients draft and negotiate various data agreements, including data security agreements, data processing agreements, and trial services agreements.
Kady received her J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law where she graduated early while in WCL’s evening program and working full time. After earning her B.A. from California State University, Chico, she earned her M.A. in International Law and Economics from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies.
Outside of work, Kady is a passionate volunteer with Lucky Dog Animal Rescue as a Team Lead, Adoption Coordinator, foster, and in many other capacities. To date, she has fostered over 30 pups and has personally found forever homes for over 450 dogs and puppies.
