In this article for Legaltech news, Legal Director Alex Stout provides his thoughts on the FCC’s new Privacy and Data Protection Task Force, commenting that “[t]he commission’s task force includes members from every bureau of the commission so I think that is notable for the breadth of what the FCC is looking at doing going forward.” In addition, he notes that “it’s also interesting that the enforcement bureau is in the lead and so I expect that there will be some more enforcement actions.”
